Keith Urban has revealed that the prospect of fatherhood has helped him to gain a new appreciation for performing.

The country music singer and his wife Nicole Kidman confirmed that they are expecting a baby together last month, following weeks of speculation.

“Performing in general has taken on a whole new feeling for me, certainly in light of fatherhood and so on,” Urban explained.

“It has been a beautiful journey, really since that record Love, Pain and the Whole Crazy Thing came out. Over the moon is literally how I feel; I’m very, very grateful.”

Keith and Nicole, who recently decided to launch their own clothing range, are expecting to welcome the new arrival in July.
