Web Setting Agenda In Obama Photo Row

Current World News

Sky.Com News - the news with the web’s agenda - is on-air and online from 7.30pm tonight. Presenter Martin Stanford explains what’s on:

And on the award winning Sky.Com News show tonight…

Another example of how web news is setting the news agenda.

It was on Drudge yesterday afternoon our time – on some TV channels overnight and now it has climbed our most clicked chart – the photo of US Presidential hopeful Barack Obama, dressed in traditional Somali dress while on a visit to Kenya in 2006./p>

Obama-ites suspect the Clinton campaign of planting the photo in an attempt to portray their rival in controversial light. Clinton-ites shrug their shoulders and say “Not us, honest!”

Wherever the truth lies – and I bet we never find out – one thing is quite clear. The Clinton camp have decided its time to get nasty. We’ll examine the online and in-your-face strategy from both campaigns.

We’ll feel the buzz and sample the blogging on the New York Philharmonic Orchestra bringing music to North Korea. “Wonderful how music can put people together”, says one view. “Shouldn’t be pandering to a nation that was on President George Bush’s Axis of Evil post 9/11”, says another.

All this, the best in web videos and our exclusive count down of the most clicked stories online today – don’t miss it: Sky.com/News tonight live online and on TV – 1930.
