The GOP’s assumed presidential nominee Sen. John McCain stopped by San Francisco Wednesday night to pick up a boatload of cash at a closed-press fundraiser at the Ritz-Carlton. Hey, Mac — you said that California was in play – how about sticking around next time to chat with folks who didn’t pay $2,300 to hear some “straight talk.”
