Tokyo - I’m back in Japan after an absence of four years; I’ve lived and worked in Japan in the past, I have deep personal and professional ties here, and I always enjoy coming back. Each return visit provides a snapshot vision of what the future may look like in some or many parts of the rest of the world some three to five to ten years later. At least on the technological front, that is, Japan is often way ahead of most other countries.
