Tibet: Are China’s “politicization and propaganda” putting it in a tight spot?
The Australian daily the Age offers a summary of recent events in Tibet and what the fallout might mean for the communist government of China that controls the region. Meanwhile, some China watchers have noted that, given the intensity of its rhetoric lambasting the Dalai Lama, the exiled, Tibetan-Buddhist spiritual leader, the Beijing government might be locking itself into a policy and public-relations-disaster corner from which it could be hard to crawl out in years to come.
