Pete Wentz has hinted that wife Ashlee Simpson may be expecting twins.

The Fall Out Boy rocker referred to his unborn child as “them” during a radio interview, sparking rumours that Simpson may be carrying more than one child.

“We’ve been keeping a book so far, like a journal for them – for them when they’re, uh, born,” said Wentz.

The musician also revealed that he wanted to know the sex of his child because he was already preparing gifts.

He commented: “I’d like to know the sex of the baby. It would be a bummer if you bought a boy a bunch of pink stuff!”

Wentz and Simpson confirmed the pregnancy last month.
