I noticed that it was meal time when this incident happened. I would have been upset if i was unable to finish my meal, especially if it could of been my last meal. Top marks to the pilots for bringing this big bird down safely.

Dr June Kane, from Melbourne, said: …”On the left-hand side, just forward of the wing, there’s a gaping hole from the wing to the underbody.”\n\nPeter Gibson, from Australia’s Civil Aviation Safety Authority, said: “The pilot has some pressurisation warnings about a door on the left-hand side of the aircraft, but exactly what went wrong is still being determined.”\n\nAnd yet the photos clearly show a hole on the right of the aircraft. How does a doctor and an aviation specialist not know their left and right?

The video is impressive. It show a cabin crew at the pinnacle of professionalism!\n\nAre we looking at a meteor strike? She was far too high for a ground to air missile (unless it was a SAM7, or more advanced).
