Some of the housemates amused themselves by throwing things around the garden, but Rex accidentally cut Rachel’s lip. “You’re lucky I like you,” she smiled, adding that he would be in trouble if she was evicted with a fat lip. However, when Darnell threw an ostrich egg at Rex it smashed when he caught it and cut his hand. “What goes around comes around,” Darnell joked.
Rachel tried to save a moth, although the other housemates wanted her to kill it. “Don’t be so cruel!” she said, but Luke pointed out that it was “pointless” putting them outside as they just come back into the house. “Eradicate the problem!” he shouted. Rachel says she was disappointed that Michael had told her to kill it as she had buried a moth with him before. “You buried a moth?” Stuart and Luke squealed incredulously.
Some of the male housemates took flowers from the garden to throw at their female fans. Luke joked that they were “pansies” as Dale boasted: “I’ve nailed the best flower.” Meanwhile, Darnell decided the peach flowers were the best. However, Big Brother soon reminded them not to tamper with fixtures and fittings.
Rex and Sara had a dispute as housemates were preparing for the eviction. Having just got ready in the bedroom, Sara returned to the lounge only for Rex to ask her: “When are you going to start getting ready?” Sara did not take the joke well, and remarked: “Rex donÂ’t even talk to me, if youÂ’re gonna say stupid things I donÂ’t wanna hear it.” The pair later joked about the incident.
Housemates were impressed by Lisa’s culinary skills as she served up lamb, caramelised onions and vegetables for dinner. Sara described it as “my best dinner ever”, while Darnell exclaimed: “This is what I’m talking about!” Luke joked: “This is somebody’s ‘last supper’.”
Rex told housemates that he thought Rachel was the nominee who most wanted to stay in the house. Kat felt that it was herself, telling Rex: “I want to be in the final.”
As Luke prepared to leave the house, Stuart advised him to “just enjoy” the experience. “It’s the biggest party ever,” he added. Luke told them that he would be watching. “So make it entertaining,” he said.
Mohamed enjoyed teasing new housemate Nicole. He dared her to jump into the egg-ridden pool, before asking Rex: “How much is she worth in the house?” He admitted that it was £1, the price of an ever-changing special prize token.
Rex, Darnell and Mohamed speculated as to whether Nicole had entered the house on a secret task. Mo thought that she was part of a task which they had to complete successfully in order for her to enter the house as a full housemate. “Nicole’s on a secret task for sure,” said Rex.
