RachelÂ’s brother has hit out at claims that his sister is “the most boring housemate ever”.

Joe Rice, a 30-year-old trainee builder, said he thinks Rex is to blame for the repeated jibes.

“HeÂ’s verbally bullying and playing mind games with her,” he said. “I wish I was there to stop him. But RachelÂ’s a very strong character and she can handle him.

“She might get upset but she wonÂ’t crack as easily as he thinks – he may as well give up now.”

Rex has criticised the teacher after seeing her bubbly personality on her VT last week.

But her brother insisted: “SheÂ’s a fun-loving person and is exactly like she is in her audition video. Her life outside the house is anything but boring – she loves travelling, going out with her friends, fitness training and raising money for charity.”

He added: “Rachel always values her friendships and loves lively, bubbly people. So her and Kat will remain friends. SheÂ’s already asked her to come to Wales and meet us.”

When quizzed on who he thinks should be evicted, Joe opted for Dale, saying: “[He] has to go because of his audition tape – who does he think he is saying he was going to ‘nail all the girlsÂ’?

“I have no time for men who treat women like that.”
