China Blocks Activist From Entering Hong Kong
Yang Jianli, a prominent Chinese activist and exile, was barred from entering Hong Kong yesterday after he arrived from Japan, according to his wife and American contacts he reached by cellphone. Yang, a U.S. permanent resident, had planned to take part in a two-day walk in Hong Kong in support of human rights in China.
