The latest news snippets and gossip from the house…
Lisa and Mikey completed this week’s shopping list but not without some disagreements. As they sat in the bedroom, Rex and Nicole came in to help. Big Brother then announced that only Lisa and Mikey could do the shopping list. Mikey asked them: “Could you please just leave?”
Rex told Stu that he didn’t understand why some of the housemates were “taking it so personally” that Rachel is up for eviction. “No one took it personally when I was up,” he said. “It doesn’t make sense at all.”
Stu confessed to Kat that he only has one close friend in real life and that the only person he feels he has been close to in the house is Dale. He said: “I think in everyday life, some people have a group of close friends and then some people just have one. I’ve only had one, it’s just my personality.” He added that he wasn’t a big socialiser, saying he doesn’t drink much or “go out much”.
Nicole appeared to make a comment which made the housemates worry they were starring in the worst Big Brother yet. “I don’t want that!” Sara squealed. Rex agreed: “It would hurt me if this was the worst Big Brother. Well done guys, but it’s the lowest ratings yet!” Darnell joked that people could lose their jobs because of them. However, Nicole said she had never said that it was the worst year, and Rex decided too much happened in the house for the show to be boring.
The housemates complained that they hadn’t been given their flour with the shopping, as it meant they couldn’t make banana crumble. “We definitely ordered it,” Lisa announced, and Michael agreed. “I’ll need to go in, then,” Michael sighed, making his way to the Diary Room. Rachel later reassured him that Big Brother had just forgotten it, explaining that the eggs had not arrived last week.
Rex told the group that he has only got one eviction prediction wrong so far and told the other housemates that he thinks Rachel will leave tomorrow. “It’s not bad, seven right out of eight,” he said.
Mikey discussed his opinion of Nicole with Kat and Mo as they sat in jail. He said: “She’s an absolute barmpot, she’s not enjoying herself in here. She’s acting like Alex did in her first week.” He then told them that Nicole had queried why Mikey was taking lemonade from the kitchen. “I picked up lemonade and chocolate and she said ‘What are you doing?’. I asked her, ‘Why did you ask if you knew what I was doing?’ She said she was just being friendly but she was being critical.” Kat agreed and said she could see that Nicole didn’t enjoy the task. “She’s a right little madam,” Mikey said.
The housemates played a game tonight where they had to throw one of Nicole’s red shoes into a tyre. Rachel told them: “In a European country, if you’re wearing red shoes it means that you’re not wearing underwear.” This caused a reaction with the boys who started teasing her, saying: “What European country is that in Rachel? Wales?”
