India extends curfew to quell Kashmir protest

SRINAGAR, India (Reuters) – Indian police beat Kashmiri protesters who defied a curfew, police said on Tuesday, and troops searched for separatist leaders as the biggest anti-India protests in two decades showed no sign of abating.
