If it seems as though everybody, everywhere, has an opinion about the direction American foreign policy should take when the next president moves into the White House, maybe it’s because the disastrous policies of the failed Bush presidency have affected so many people in so many parts of the world in so many ways. That’s the message that emerges between the lines as countless commentators offer their two cents’ worth of advice and reflection on the subject as the U.S. presidential election approaches.
