Every time we shovel, another load of LHC lands on the doorstep. This 30-second TV ad that the McCain campaign is showing in key battleground states is called “Chicago Machine.” It’s a policy-free hit piece, another attempt to cast Barack Obama as a sort of nefarious character — this time playing on the Illinois senator’s roots as a “Chicago” politicians. Or as the ad’s narrator baritones, “Born of the corrupt Chicago political machine.” Moo-hoo-hahahhahah.
