Kim Wilde would like her son Harry to become a rock star when he grows up.

The musician has plastered the ten-year-old’s bedroom walls with pictures of metal band Metallica, and she has encouraged him to take up the guitar.

The 47-year-old is the daughter of rocker Marty Wilde and would like to continue her family’s musical lineage.

“I am totally grooming my son, Harry, to be a rock god,” she told The Times. “I really want him to be one. I have put posters of Metallica all over his room and he has all-day guitar lessons on a Sunday.”

‘Kids In America’ singer Wilde is currently taking part in the ‘Here And Now’ ’80s popstar tour.
