The X Factor final twelve will perform their charity single ‘Hero’ on Saturday’s live show.

Girlband and Bad Lashes will return for a live performance of the track with the remaining ten contestants before the latest elimination results are announced.

The Mariah Carey cover is raising funds for the Help For Heroes charity, which supports wounded servicemen and women, and the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal.

‘Hero’ will be available to download from midnight Saturday, while a physical release is confirmed for October 27.

X Factor airs on ITV1 on Saturday at 7.45pm. The live results follow at 10.10pm.
