My story in Friday’s's paper about Tatsuya Ichihashi, the presumed killer of Lindsay Hawker, generated a swift response in Tokyo. I reported (read it here) that, although the Chiba police continue their dogged investigation, their detective colleagues in Tokyo have concluded that he has committed suicide and is quietly decomposing in a forest somewhere.
