Everyone loves a snowman. With their comical, carrot noses and floppy hats, these chubby-looking children of winter are an all-too rare companion at a time when Britain has become accustomed to warm, wet weather.

Rejoice, then, that today’s big dump has given kids big and small the chance to build their own new set of frost-bitten friends. And celebrate further by entering our competition to find the best one in Britain.
