The snowmen of Brighton beach

Current World News Comments (0)

If you go down to Brighton beach, you’ll find a surprisingly large number of snowmen. They come in all shapes and sizes, although so far only in white.

Newsblog was down there bright and early and found this cheeky chappie, whom we dubbed Freddy, puffing out his chest by the burnt-out West Pier. Unfortunately, he was a bit too cheeky for his own good – a group of kids rolled him down into the Channel shortly after this shot was taken.

Over by the Palace Pier, Frosty had clearly spent a night on the town. He is is posing by his new-found friend, Daisy Naughton, 14, who was enjoying a day off school.

We called this one Herbert. He was chillin’ out to some wicked beats.

Ho-Ho-Hove, actually… This fine fellow with his genuine carrot nose was wowing the crowds further west, although he looked a bit precarious on his perch.
