  • Unfortunately its all about politics, which has nothing to do about Public Service and all about serving private interest groups.

  • Looks as though Obama is taking his advice from his new {best-est] friend, you know the one that was in power over here until he saw what was about to happen, and very quickly decided that now he had started the decline in Britain he’d hand the reins very speedily over that other Scottish reject Brown. For Obamas information that’s Blair, sadly [I think] you are now showing very poor judgement in listening to the most crooked man in politics[second only to Mandelson].A short time ago I for one was very pleased to see you elected, but now you are showing your lack of experience, please remember if you associate with criminals people will think you too are crooked,or at the least UNTRUSTWORTHY…

  • I find it odd that people trust him enough to vote him in to run the country, but then don’t trust him enough to run it once he is in!!!!

  • Typical Republicans- Quite happy to pass the tax payer’s money onto already wealthy bannkers and CEOs to rescue them from a situation, that some might say, they were Instrumental in creating. However, when it comes to helping the general public and putting money into creating jobs they fight tooth and nail to oppose it.

  • Doesn’t this sound familiar, although not as dramatic. Remember these words from a previous spin meister, “we only have 24 hours to save the NHS”. Yup, both left of centre and looking for sympathetic public backing to spend spend spend your taxes.

I have just returned from the USA and some of the “projects” that this money is being spent on is a joke.

  • Yep, USA in deep trouble – not us though, house prices are rising again and we are well placed to weather the storm.

If the USA is in deep trouble then we are finnished as an economy – not believe the hype about house prices rising again and all that —- they will try and peddle over here.
