Assuming the forest for a tree

In my initial version of the post below on Burr Oak Cemetery, I typed “Burr Oaks Cemetery.”  Not that I hadn’t read the correct name, one oak, umpty-whillion times, but that, in my haste as I typed, I relied on a far broader memory of the general tednency to pluralize natural phenomena when naming things.
