From Rod Blagojevich’s radio program today on WLS AM 890:

A bull who’s castrated is a steer. And a pig who’s castrated is a barrow. And a governor who’s castrated is Pat Quinn.

I don’t think I’m done politically. When I win this trial and I’m vindicated, people are going to see the truth for what it is. And I’m not writing myself off.

We  had a call last week when i talked about the backlog on some of the clemency requests and petitions that came to my office.  Among my regrets when I look back at my time as governor is we had a backlog and we didn’t work as probably as fast as we should have to review all of those cases. And I feel like there’s some people that maybe could have been given clemency or pardons had we had a chance to kinda really evaluate those.

Our former governor is obsessed with his successor’s testicles. Mentions them rather often, and probably should work on some new metaphors.  Meanwhile, the remark about pardons is the first time he’s hinted that he’s aware of how appallingly lazy he was in executing this responsibility of his office (it was so bad that he was sued in federal court over it and even lost the first go-`round), though the idea that he didn’t have ” a chance to kinda really evaluate” the petitions (along with the declaration that he’s not done politically) shows that he remains basically clueless.
