We’ve been swapping tales of heroism and near-disaster as we arrive for work at Times central this morning – but we’re obviously the lucky ones. The airports are going pear-shaped, trains are running on emergency timetables, Eurostar is faltering back into life, Basingstoke and Reading are pretty much snowed in.
