Susan Boyle has said that she is feeling happier than ever before, according to reports.

The Britain’s Got Talent winner, who is expected to have the UK’s biggest-selling album of 2009, also thanked her fans for their support during a “rollercoaster year”.

Boyle, 48, told The Mirror: “I am the happiest I’ve ever been.

“I thank everyone for their kind messages, presents and cards, it will be a quiet time for reflection.

“I have so many cards my lounge is full of them and I can barely get in the door, each and every one is so special and I’ve re-read them time and time again.

“Christmas is a joyous time and this year I’ll be with my family and close friends and attending midnight mass to remember the true meaning.”

The star’s album I Dreamed a Dream has sold over two million copies in America.
