KO’d — Olbermann responds

Keith Olbermann responded to the top part of this post:

…that the “percolating…inflammatory innuendo” originated with the former White House correspondent for Newsweek, and his sources within the Obama Administration, and was presented in the full context of the possibilities that a) the intel failure was an honest mistake, b) it was part of a turf war among agencies, c) it was designed to embarrass somebody in the intel community or even the White House itself.

Honestly, Eric, your presenting it without that context is far more inflammatory than what Richard Wolffe and Rachel and I did last night. And trust me, none of us is enthusiastic about it. But when a reporter with those chops and that network of sources says it, live, with no warning, you want us to say “Great. Meanwhile in sports?” Seriously?
