‘Mannequin’ remake in ‘early development’

The cult classic film Mannequin is reportedly to be remade.
The 1987 romantic comedy featured Kim Cattrall as a shop dummy, created by artist Jonathan Switcher (Andrew McCarthy), which came to life.
According to Moviehole, bosses at Gladden Entertainment have said that the remake is in “early development”.
Despite receiving negative reviews on release, the original was a commercial success – grossing more than $42 million.
