Nicki Minaj has responded to rumours about her involvement in The X Factor USA by saying that she is a huge fan of Simon Cowell.

Last week, Cowell confirmed that he had discussed a number of projects with Minaj, saying that the ‘Moment 4 Life’ singer is someone that the industry “can’t ignore”.

Minaj told MTV News: “I love Simon very dearly. He’s such an amazing man. I had the pleasure of meeting him and my life will never be the same, darling. I told him that.

“I was absolutely in love with him prior to meeting him. And now that I’ve met him, I dream about him every night.”

She added: “I know the show is gonna be dope because Simon is dope and I wish them luck.”

Minaj has reportedly asked a number of female stars to appear in the video for her new single ‘Girls Fall Like Dominoes’.
